Here is a list of accidents that I've recorded over the years. The earliest one is from 1984 and the latest is June 2023. Some of these Collisions were not all fatal and I will indicate that. There are lots that I do not know about. Out of respect for family members and for the Deceased I will not list names. If anyone can add to this list. I have been getting emails adding collisions to the list! this took me many many days, hours, years to complete, and keep updating. July 1984- A husband and wife with there 2 year old child were injured in a collision with a moose near Miramichi.

September 1984- A Man is Injured in a Collision and as a result is a Quadrapalegic.

October 1993- A woman and a man are killed in a Collision on highway 7 near Grand-Bay Westfield.

April 1997-A man collides with a Deer near nasonworth and Breaverdam when a pack of deer crossed a section of highway near Highway 101(Referred to as New Maryland Highway) luckily he escaped injury.

October 1999-A Woman is killed on Highway 11 near Belledune.

December 1999-A Couple escape injury when there vehicle collides with a Deer on the Trans Canada Highway near Fredericton

February 2000-A 27 year old man is killed when his snowmobile struck a moose near Highway 135 in Pokeshaw on the Acadian Peninsula.

February 2000-A Saint John man struck a Moose on frozen taylor lake with his Snowmobile. he flew 65 metres through the air but luckily he survived.

July 2000-A Man is killed on Highway 11 Between Dalhousie and Campbellton.

May 2001-A Man Collides with a 450 Kilogram Moose On Highway 8 between Bathurst and Miramichi. Luckily he Survives, but his car is totalled.

May 2002-A Woman is killed on Highway 11 near the Campbellton exit.

August 2002-A Woman is killed on highway 7 near petersville hill.

October 2002-A Man is injured on Highway 11 near Campbellton.

June 2003-A Man is injured on Trans-Canada Highway 2 near hartland.

July 2003-A man is injured on Highway 7 (mile marker # 94) near Grand Bay-Westfield.

September 2003-A Woman is killed on Trans-Canada Highway 2 Near Lakeburn.

November 2003-A Man is killed on Highway 1 Near Lapreau.

June 2004-A Man is killed on Route 114 near Mechanic Settlement.

June 2004-A man is injured in a Collision near the Bathurst Area.

July 2004-A Man is injured on Highway 8 near Blissfield.

July 2004-A Man and a woman is injured when there motorcycle collided with a deer near scotts siding NB.

August 2004-A Man is injured on Highway 8 near Millerton.

August 2004-A Man's Vehicle was damaged in a collision with a deer on Highway 8 near Weaver Siding. luckily, he wasn't injured.

October 2004-A Woman is injured on Highway 420 near Cassilis.

October 2004-A woman is injured on Highway 8 between Fredericton and Miramichi.

February 2005-A Man is killed on the NB trails near Evangeline while operating a Snowmobile, His passenger was injured.

May 2005-A Man is killed on Highway 8 Near Miramichi.

May 2005-2 People are injured on Highway 8 near McGivney.

May 2005-2 people are injured and there car totalled on Highway 7 between Fredericton and Saint John

June 2005-A 24 yr old man is Killed and 3 others critically injured in a collision with a moose on the Trans Canada Highway, 4 km east of the Canterbury exit, in Meductic.

July 2005-A man is injured on highway 10 when 3 moose came in front of him, he avoided 2 but hit the third, luckily he survived.

August 2005-A couple with a woman 4 months pregnant collides with a moose near Mazerolle Settlement. they were avoiding hitting a large moose and in doing that another moose collided with there car. luckily they survived. (this is terrible)

September 2005-A Man is injured on Highway 8 near Blissfield.

April 2006-A man is injured on Highway 11 between Pointe Verte and Petit-Rocher

May 2006-4 people are injured on Highway 2 near Sainte-Basile.

May 2006-A man is injured on Highway 7 (mile marker # 86) near Grand Bay-Westfield.

May 2006-A Man is injured on Highway 11 in duffs lake near Campbellton

June 2006-A Woman is killed on Highway 11 Near Benjamin River.

June 2006-2 people are injured near New River Beach on Highway 1.

June 2006-2 men collision with near fatal injuries on Highway 7 near Petersville Hill.

June 2006-A Teenage Girl is killed on Highway 10 between Fredericton and Minto.

September 2006-A woman and her husband Collide with a deer on Highway 16 near Port Elgin Escaping Injury with Extensive damage to there vehicle.

October 2006-A man is involved in a collision on highway 11 near Atholville.

October 2006-a three vehicle collison with a moose on Highway 7 near Grandbay-Westfield luckily nobody was hurt.

November 2006-I believe over the weekend of November 12, 1 or more collisions have Occured with Deer near St.George, NB.

November 2006-A couple escape injury in a Collision with A deer on Highway 1 near Quispamsis.

January 2007-A 43 yr old man was killed when his Snowmobile collided with a Moose on the Shepody Road in Sussex/Shepody, N.B

April 2007-A woman collides with a moose near Duff's Lake near Campbellton on Highway 11!!

May 2007-A man had a collision with a Deer on the Hanwell road in Fredericton.

June 2007-I seen a Dead deer on Bishop drive in Fredericton, Obviously someone had a Collision with it.

June 2007-A Couple collide with a Moose on Highway 7 near Petersville Hill.

June 2007-A Man Collides with a Moose near Beresford on Highway 11. He escaped with minor injuries. there have been approximately 11 Collisons with Moose in the past month as Of June 28th in the province. any other to add to the list? email me at ceo@fencenbhighways.com

July 2007-A couple escape injury when there motorcycle collided with A deer between the exits for Mazerolle settlement Road and Route 3.

July 2007-A woman is injured in a collison with a moose near Welsford totalling her car aswell.

August 2007-2 male passengers were involved in a collison on Highway 8 outside of Miramichi near "La bonne Route" they escaped with minor injuries. (I was a witness to the aftermath of this collusion)

October 2007-A Woman who called into FREDFM hit a Deer. Im guessing somewhere in the Fredericton Area.

May 2008-A Woman collided with a deer on Highway 2 between Fredericton and Oromocto

May 2008-A Man Collides with a Moose on HIGHWAY 11 Near Belledune. Luckily he survived, but his vehicle was totally wrecked.

May 2008-Someone collided with a Deer on Trans-canada Highway 2 near the Hanwell Road exit. I stopped and photographed the scene.In my opinion whoever hit it, it wasn't long before I came upon it as the blood was flowing out its mouth still. It was so Sad to see this. I reported it to the Department of Transportation who told me they don't handle that stuff!!! ???? so I was transferred to The Department Of Natural Resources Minister's Secretary I left a voice mail telling them about it.

May 2008-A woman hit a deer somewhere outside of Fredericton, I am awaiting confirmation of the Location, her side door was totally smashed in.

May 2008-A man collides with a Moose somewhere between Charlo/Black Point.

June 2008-A 58-year-old Lavillette man was killed in a collision after hitting a moose on Highway 8 near the Russellville Road. he swerved to avoid one moose and ended up hitting another one. his passenger survived.

July 2008-A woman who was a passenger in a car travelling on Highway 11 near Campbellton is killed when the car she was in collided with a moose. 2 other people are injured but survived.***The man on Highway 8 died on June 30th and the woman on Highway 11 died on July 1st. less than a day apart......incredibly sad :(

February 2009-A man is killed near the New Irealand road in germantown when his snowmobile struck a moose.

March 2009-2 teenagers escape serious injury on Higway 7 between Fredericton and St.John when the car they were driving in collided with a moose.

June 2009-A woman collides with a moose on highway 11 totalling her car. luckily she survived.

June 2009-A woman collides with a Moose on Highway 8 near the Bonne Route restaurant. Luckily she survived the collision.

June 2009-A man and Woman Collide with a Moose on Route 114 Mechanic settlement. the Woman remains in hospital in serious condition

July 2010-A man is killed and 2 others are injured in a crash near Welsford when there vehicle collided with a moose.

July 2010-A man is killed on the Trans Canada Highway just outside of Perth Andover when his vehicle struck a moose.

October 2010-A 29 year old man and his 26 year old wife are killed when there vehicle collided with a moose on highway 11 near Shediac Bridge. the only survivor was there 2 year old son. incredibly sad.

October 2010-a 64 year old man from upper tilly road collides with a moose and is killed instantly

November 2010-A man and a woman are injured when there car collides with a Moose near Charlo on Highway 11.

July 2011- A 48 year old man is dead when his motorcycle collided with a moose on Highway 11 near Bouctouche

September 2011- A 26 year old man from Moncton collided with a moose on the Trans-Canada highway north of the hartland exit near Waterville.

December 2011- A woman is killed near malden NB route 16 when her car struck a moose. the driver survived!

December 2011- A 65 year old man is in critical condition when his vehicle struck a moose near perth andover on the trans-canada highway

March 2012- A 52 year old man is dead when the vehicle he is in swerved to avoid hitting a moose near Cape Jourimain on Highway 16. the driver survived.

June 2012- 2 teenage boys collided with a moose near lower Charlo and they both survived.

July 2012- a 47 year old man has died when his vehicle collided with a moose in Glenwood on Highway 11.

January 2013- A tractor trailer collides with a Moose on highway 11 near the exit for mcleods. (my wife and I missed hitting this moose by about 5 minutes!)

August 2014- A 71 year old Dalhousie man is killed when his ATV collides with a Moose near island lake 25 Km's West of Bathurst. This wasn't on a Highway but still accounts for the Moose Collisions in this Area..

May 2015- 2 men collide with a Moose near Nash Creek on Highway 11 in the northern part of the Province, both men survive uninjured. I know one of these men.

August 2015- A vehicle collides with a moose on Highway 11 between Bathurst and Miramichi. this collision sent the moose flying into another car causing a 2nd collision, my brother in law was driving along and saw this accident he stopped and helped in every way he could and luckily nobody died and only had minor injuries.

August 2016- A man with several passengers collides with a moose on Highway 11 By Charlo in the northern part of the Province. the truck was totaled, luckily all passengers were not injured. THIS WAS MY COUSIN DRIVING!!

September 2016- 2 people are dead and 8 are injured when there Vehicle collides with a moose near Saint-Louis-de-kent on Highway 11. the driver and his passenger were both killed while trying to avoid hitting the moose. HIGHWAY 11! LIKE I'VE BEEN SAYING, THE DEADLIEST HIGHWAY IN THIS PROVINCE!

May 2017-a young couple travelling with there young child near Rexton on highway 11 collided with a moose luckily they all survived but there car was a total mess. Another collision on highway 11 whether in the north, middle or south of the Province, Highway 11 is the deadliest highway

June 2018-A man is killed on Highway 11 near the Dalhousie exit. his passenger survived but he the driver was killed!! ive been fighting the government for years for highway 11 in the north!!!! 11 deaths since 1999. almost 1 a year!!!

November 2019-a woman collided with a moose near Belledune on HIGHWAY 11. She survived, but her vehicle was totalled, the thing about this collision was that it was where the electric fences were installed in early 2000...so that makes me upset. Further the idea that we need fences not electronic wires, it's in bad shape, I doubt if anyone touched it it would shock them

August 2021- A 34 year old man is dead after his motorcycle collided with a moose on Highway 11 in Charlo. I've been saying since I created this site Highway 11 particularly in the north is the worst spot for moose vehicle collisions. I know who this man is!

June 2023- my sister in law collided with a moose near the bon route on highway 11. she survived but it could of been worse
